Raja Yoga Meditation
Raja Yoga is an ancient system of meditation that enables us to return to our natural state of peace, inner power and self-worth. It helps us to gain an understanding of our identity and purpose, different levels of consciousness and our power to exercise choice over our thoughts, feelings and responses.
Raja Yoga offers a simple, step-by-step approach to the practice of meditation. As we come to know and appreciate our true selves, we can start to live our lives ‘from the inside out’ and express our qualities and strengths in a more natural way.
The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University (UK) promotes the principles and practice of Raja Yoga meditation through educational programmes, events, projects and publications. Bringing together individuals of all ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds, and working with organisations and community groups across the UK, the University encourages the development of the spiritual dimension of people’s lives.
Registered as a UK charity in 1975, the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University (UK) is part of a worldwide network of over 8,500 centres in more than 100 countries, the first of which was founded in India in the 1930’s.
